Our in-house physiotherapists are here to keep you mobile, active and safe.

Our physiotherapy services can help you with post-injury and rehabilitation care, but are also focused on prevention, helping you to avoid injuries and maintain your independence.

Our trained physios will work with you to set your goals, assisting you to rebuild capability with daily activities that have become challenging.

Our main goal is to help you achieve the mobility you want, and our team works to get you back to doing the things you love.

Clients attend an Aqua class at the local YMCA.
Clients may choose to access a swim pass

Based on an individual assessment, allied health professionals work with you to establish a tailored treatment plan that can include individual or group therapy. Services may be provided on a short term or episodic basis and are provided to support your independence with a preventative, maintenance, or restorative focus. Services may include:
• Podiatry
• Occupational therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Formal counselling
• Speech pathology
• Nutritional advice
• Assessment for home safety and equipment needs
• Education in use of equipment that supports independence
• Exercise/Gym classes/Falls prevention
• Tai Chi, Chi Ball
• Condition-specific (Parkinson’s, stroke/pulmonary conditions, arthritis, diabetes) self-management.
Sessions are conducted at Paradise (Aquatic exercise venue is in Modbury) with some services provided in your home (eg Occupational Therapy). Transport to and from venue may be provided, depending on your circumstances.

Occupational therapy covers a wide range of services vital for adapting to daily challenges. Our qualified therapists can offer practical solutions to make your life easier.

Our team will work with you to understand your challenges and design solutions that work for you. We can help you with special tools to open jars, mobility equipment or advice on rearranging your home to enhance accessibility and independence.

Our local Occupational Therapists come to you, making it easier to implement changes that make everyday tasks more manageable.

Uniting Communities' Health Access offers Allied Health Services promoting wellness and reablement to support you to maintain your physical, cognitive and social health and wellbeing to enable you to continue living at home, in your community as independent and active as possible. We offer a range of services: Physiotherapy, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Home Safety Assessments, Podiatry, Hydrotherapy, Arthritic Hand Group. Cognition groups including Brain Gym and Active Brain plus many exercise groups: Falls/Balance Class, Strength Class, Pilates, Easy Movement Active Ageing and Chi Ball.
