1. My Aged Care Terms of Use

Welcome to the My Aged Care website (Website) which is presented by the Australian Government Department of Health (the Department) for the purpose of disseminating information and resources on aged care free of charge for the benefit of the Australian public. The Website is hosted and managed by Healthdirect Australia Ltd (Healthdirect) on behalf of the Department.

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the Website, the content of the Website, and any material accessed through the Website. In these Terms of Use, the terms "you" and "your" refer to the user or viewer of the Website or the user of information contained in, or accessed through, the Website (Information).

It is your responsibility to make your own decisions about your selection of an aged care or health care service provider, and you should do so in consultation with a healthcare professional.

4.3 My Aged Care client portal

Providing access to information for all users, including those with disability, is really important to us. The My Aged Care client portal aims to meet the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) web standards, endorsed by the Australian Government. If there is information on the client portal that is in a format you cannot access or if you experience any other accessibility difficulties, please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
