Gateway Community Services - Social Group Hydro Hotshots
“Hydro Hotshots” a warm water exercise program includes structured exercises and is a weekly social activity for people who are over 55, high functioning, low physical support needs and independent with personal care. 'Hydro Hotshots' provides members with opportunities to be both physically and socially active whilst undertaking meaningful body balance and strengthening activities. Trained staff and volunteers assist members to perform strength, cardio and stretching exercise that will assist with wellness and reablement. The day also includes nutrition and social interaction over afternoon tea. Servicing those living in Hobsons Bay & Maribyrnong municipalities, this program is supported by Gateway’s door to door Community transport every Thursday at the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre from 11.00am and 4.00pm (including transport).

Mulgrave MS Social Support Group
Group provides support and activities for people with MS and other neurological conditions. Supported by staff and volunteers the group is tailored to meet the individual goals of group participants. A trained art facilitator is also available.
Hervey Bay Day Care And Respite Centre Trading as Lonsdale House Support Services
Hervey Bay Day Care and Respite Centre provides support to those who struggle socially or are needing a rest from their current environment. We orientate activities to stimulate and provide an opportunity to socialise with individuals from all walks of life. We strive to develop an individuals confidence to socialise and ability to make decisions to assist them to stay at home longer. We can provide transport depending on your location and offer food and drink options. A normal day is filled with activities starting at 9am and finishing at 2pm.

City of Whittlesea - Social Support Program
Service is for people residing in the City of Whittlesea municipality.
This service provides an opportunity for people to attend & participate in social interactions at the Barry Road Community Activity Centre and Mernda Social Support Centre. There are a range of groups available including an Italian speaking group and the Program Coordinator will assess which group most suits your interests and needs.
Programs are provided across the week & are designed to develop, maintain & support social interaction & independent living.
Activities are planned to support & promote the physical, cognitive & emotional well-being of participants.
Group excursions may also be included.
There is a charge to attend the program depending on your income.
Murray Bridge Community Care Program
We provide a social day once a month for Ladies (Lesiure, Lunch and Laughter) and Gentlmen (Men of the Barbie) that live alone. A day out is enjoyed by going to visit places of interest in the Hills, Adelaide and other locations that are of interest. Only cost for the day is to that everyone pays for their own lunch. Come and join us on a fun filled day and maybe make some friendships.

Attend one of the regular Social Support Group sessions to enjoy interaction with like-minded people, make new friends and share activities. The activities are varied and designed to promote physical motion, stimulate reminiscence and encourage emotional well-being.

Uniting's Merrylands group is an opportunity for our Turkish clients to connect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Central Gardens Nature Reserve with it's abundance of birdlife. We'll provide refreshments at our Wednesday sessions (9.30am-1.30pm) and for a small fee we can transport you to and from the centre and provide a meal.
