Carers Link, Barossa offer a variety of interesting & meaningful 'Social Support Groups' for the over 65's. We have five different programs available delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Details: Mondays - Bushgardens group for males (10am - 12.30pm) & 'Hello Monday Club' (11am - 3pm). Wednesdays - Bushgardens group for females (9.30am - 11.15am) & 'Caring Coffee Club' which includes tinker shed (9.30am - 1.30pm). Fridays - 'Food, Fun & Friends Outing (FFF)' (9.30am - 2pm). PLEASE READ our attachment which gives more specific detailed information about the programs. All groups are facilitated by trained staff, contractors & volunteers. Enjoy a delicious home made meal at 'Caring Coffee Club' or 'Hello Monday'. At Carers Link our point of difference is how we can care & listen to you. The unique environment of our 'social support groups' encourage people to feel supported by both professional staff but also other people experiencing similar life issues & challenges.

Woden Community Service Incorporated
WCS has a number of friendly social groups to cater to many different interests including lunch groups, local and regional bus trips, 'blokes' coffee mornings, Ladies' latte and shopping groups. We have live entertainment, games and lots of fun. Transport can be arranged for service users living in Woden Valley.
We are always looking to start new groups to meet the needs and interests of our community and we are currently implementing a range of Positive Ageing programs - i.e. Nordic Walking, Strength Training, Warm Water Exercises and Dancing.
Uniting AgeWell North West Community Services - Kingsville
Kingsville Day Centre provides participants with the opportunity to take part in recreational, social and cultural activities that appeal to a wide range of interests. The on-site café is a great social meeting place, and our seniors’ gym offers strength-based training as part of the Uniting AgeWell ‘living longer, living stronger’ initiative. The program also caters for the needs of clients with dementia and offers a range of activities including gentle exercise, interactive games, reminiscence and gardening. Our community pursuits program involves outings to a variety of community activities and venues. These programs are available Monday - Friday and provide the opportunity for people to meet new friends and try new activities, while also giving personal carers a break from their caring role.
