Parkinson's SA
Parkinson's SA provides specialised support, information and education to people with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders and their family carers. Social Workers provide one on one counselling and support by phone or face to face and can inform people of and refer people to other community programs. These include Parkinson's SA seminars and specialised educational sessions which aim to encourage self management and independence. Support Groups in metropolitan and country areas provide a mutual aid model of care that gives people the chance to come together with others in the same situation, usually once a month. The organisation is client centred and will advocate for people on an individual and systemic level.
Dementia Services Central Australia
The Central Australia Dementia Service comprises a clinical nurse consultant and visiting Geriatrician. Memory clinics are held in Alice Springs and in remote communities as required or via tele-health.

Australian Multicultural Community Services -Specialised Services
AMCS' program is designed to support seniors who face difficulties in accessing the services they need. The program aims to give people from diverse backgrounds the services of their choice.
AMCS Program coordinators are the first point of contact for assisting people to access services. As part of their role they provide information and develop effective links as well as establish trust with CALD communities and their carers. We are the link between the client or carer and the service provider.
Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) is a not-for-profit community care organisation providing services to older people and their carers for 40 years.
Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place - Access & Support
Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) Access and Support service helps people live comfortably at home. We provide ongoing support to Indigenous people aged 50 plus, community members with a disability (18+) and their carers (Indigenous and non Indigenous carers).
