Goodwin Home Support Services
Day Clubs can be a breath of fresh air, getting you out and about and meeting new friends. Goodwin’s Day Club programs include pick-up, drop-off, morning tea and a hot lunch. Our coordinators organise various activities such as: group outings, BBQs and picnics, movies and shows, games, and more! It’s all within a supportive environment, with qualified, dedicated staff who love what they do.

Staying active and connected with other people in a nurturing and safe environment is a vital part of enjoying life. Anglicare’s group activity sessions are designed to encourage you to participate in a full range of stimulating and therapeutic group activities, including:
• Exercise classes e.g. swimming, walking, seated exercises
• Relaxation and stress reduction
• Balance and falls prevention
• Safety in the home
• Memory and cognitive training
• Healthy eating and nutrition
• Education options
Sessions aim to help you reduce your risk of isolation, improve your health, and strengthen your links with your community.
Group sessions are conducted in the community. However, Anglicare also offers Social Support for Individuals that can be hosted either in your own home or in your local community.

Resthaven Community Services - Limestone Coast
Working in partnership with participants, we develop group activities based on preferred interests, hobbies and abilities. Some activities are tailored to support people to retain or learn new skills, and to participate at a level they are most confident and comfortable with. Group-based activities may include:
• activities promoting physical activity, good thinking and socialisation (cooking, craft, social club, men’s group, exercise).
• occasional group excursions to local towns, farms, field days.
Centre-based activities are currently held in Naracoorte, Robe, Millicent and Mount Gambier.
Transport to and from the venue may be provided, depending on your circumstances. Staff and volunteers are trained in supporting older people and people living with dementia.

The South West Sydney Social Club provides a variety of activities and outings in a friendly and caring environment for the frail aged and people with dementia to encourage social interaction and support carers.

In all our practices, we always aspire to promote the dignity, self-esteem and freedom of each individual.

Central Bayside Day Services
Day services for the Aged, offering respite for Carers. Planned Activity Groups (PAG) provides an opportunity for social interaction through group and community based activities outside the home PAG also plays an important role in providing respite and support for carers of people who are frail, aged or with a range of conditions including Dementia, Parkinson, MS and acquired brain injuries. The activities are designed to meet individual needs of clients and enhance the skills required for daily living by providing physical, intellectual, emotional and social stimulation. PAG runs a wide range of groups each week, which focus on the interests of group members. Transport can be provided. This will be discussed at the point of initial assessment. Morning tea and lunch are provided for all full day programs. Morning and afternoon tea are provided for half day programs.
Baptcare Orana Respite and Social Centre
Orana's social support group program is made up of a range of activities with a focus on wellness, friendship and social connectedness. We offer bus outings as well as activities at the centre which includes: music, craft, social events, bingo, games, light exercise programs, walking group, men's shed. Morning and afternoon tea and a home-cooked meal are provided. Transport can also be provided if needed. Programs run Monday to Friday. We also offer a Tuesday evening cafe club, and a Sunday Lunch Club which is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends or reconnect with old friends.
Comlink Australia Sunshine Coast - CHSP
Comlink Australia has been providing quality Aged Care to the Community for more than 30 years. Our goal is to assist you to live well and stay connected to the Community. Comlink Australia offers a number of services to assist you in maintaining a social life and help you to continue to participate within your community. Social Support Group includes a range of group activities and events that cater to all individual needs such as:
• BBQ Picnics
• Day Tours
• Wine Tasting
• Concerts
• In addition, a whole range of local special events
Baptcare Southaven Day Centre
Are you caring for someone and would like some support or a break?
At Baptcare, our values are independence, choice and wellbeing, and we strive to ensure that everyone can enjoy these values.
Our friendly staff will work with you to decide which options will best support you in your caring role. We offer a range of programs in our Social Support Groups that will help your loved one keep active, explore their interests and make and maintain friendships. Excursions are offered six days a week, as well as a special weekly outing for the Greek community.
Our variety of programs include activities that celebrate cultural differences and meet the needs of people with Dementia by using Montessori techniques in a secure environment. We can also assist with medication administration and personal care requirements, as well as organise support groups and respite for carers.
