Our BlueCare services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services
are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities.

Narrabri Seniors Program Social Support Group
Whiddon’s Seniors Program is a day respite program that runs two days per week at our Narrabri residential home. The program provides social support for older people and respite for carers. The day respite program offers a range of social, creative ageing and wellbeing activities. These activities vary from week to week, with clients’ preferred activities incorporated into the activity plan. The Program focuses on enabling and encouraging older people to maintain and improve their independence. The activities that we offer as part of the program will include exercise programs aimed at promoting strength and reducing the risk of falling and activities that promote cognitive engagement.
Plantagenet Cranbrook MPS
The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.

Exercise Groups each Monday and Tuesday at Inverell Homes for the Aged Community Hall 9:30am- 10:30am
Craft Day 4th Tuesday of each month 10am - 2pm at 48 Oliver Street, Inverell
St John's Community Care Coen
St John’s Social Support Groups provides assistance with your social needs and encourage seniors to stay active. Groups activities are run in a homely environment with a home cooked meal, provide the opportunity to interact with other people and the carer to have time out. The activities include for example; outings, social discussions with others, trivia games, group walks, watching a movie with others, gentle exercise sessions, therapy sessions eg music, and a range of allied health professionals. We provide flexible, responsive and person centred services valuing people with special needs, appreciating diversity We will match the consumer and care staff and provide a culturally appropriate staff to support you with access in the community to participate in social activities. We work with you to create a Care plan that’s right for you. Our staff undergo training for their role ensuring quality services arer delivered. St John's has over 25 years experience in aged care.

Uniting's Nowra group has something for everyone, including exercise classes, crafts, quizzes and games, music, movies, outings, making the most of technology or just catching up for a coffee and a chat in good company. We'll make you very welcome every Wednesday from 10am - 3pm.
