Australian Croatian Community Services (North West Region)
Getting out of the house and being socially active is a vital part of staying happy and healthy at any age but especially as you get older when work and family commitments change.
Our Social Support Groups are weekly social activities that are tailored to the interests and needs of the older people from Croatian, Bosnian and Herzegovinian communities.
The Northerners Ladies Group meet on Mondays 10am - 2pm and Men's Group meet on Wednesdays 10am - 2pm in Bundoora. The groups also go on regular community outings to places of interests, for picnics, to restaurants and for special events. Transport provided subject to volunteer availability.
All programs include nourishing meals, freshly cooked. Program fees are kept to a minimum.
Joining a Social Support Group with Australian Croatian Community Services is a very warm and welcoming experience, even for people from other migrant backgrounds and the broader community. Please contact us for a program flyer and more details.
