MiCare Greek Social Support Group Carnegie
At our Greek social support group, we look at the strength of the participant and empower them to participate in activity they choose. Our warm and welcoming social group will make people feel empowered and connected to the community. This will enhance their quality of life, maintain and improve their independence and to continue to live in the community with pride. All our staff are qualified and adopt person centre approach to support participants in the group. Activities include board games, gentle exercise, Quizes, craft, and themed days . Bethanie Community Care - South West
Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Home and Community Care (HACC), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.
Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Cooperative
A ladies group every Tuesday from 10.30am to 3.30pm at Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Cooperative - Horsham. We encourage the Aunties to bring along their craft projects however, craft activities are also supplied including lunch. We also hold elder specific outings and events throughout the year which are advertised on our Community Facebook page and website.
