Volunteer based service assisting clients to/from all local area appointments that are either medical, exercise or shopping related. Shopping bus service to local shopping centres provided as well.

Located 250kms North West of Alice Springs, Papunya Home Care Service hosts five Level 2 Home Care Packages, Home Support and NT Disability Support services.

Open 8am - 1pm, Mon - Fri

Services include: lunch, breakfast, personal care, transport, advocacy, domestic and social support, and some 'bush trips'. Other services can be negotiated with the Manager. Medication administration and other nursing-level services are not available.

Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.

We offer supported transport to and from shopping; for meals or social activities; to the post office or bank, to pay utility bills; to visit friends and loved ones; to attend medical appointments with you. Alternatively, our Care Car service offers a convenient and reliable single-ride transport service, with safe vehicles and experienced drivers. Whether you are visiting one of our Health & Wellness Centres, attending a GP appointment or simply going to the shops, our Care Car can get you there. The Care Car service currently operates from depots at the Phillip Kennedy Centre (477-479 Military Road, Largs Bay) and The Pines (336 Marion Road, North Plympton). Clients can be picked up and dropped off within a 10km radius of these two depots. Clients must be physically able to get in and out of the car either without assistance or with the assistance of one person, and those with walking aids, baggage or shopping must be able to move these items in and out of the car without assistance.
