Community transport or vouchers
Federation of Polish Organisations in SA Inc.3
Polish Federation provides transport assistance through the Polish Social Support Services Program (PSSS Program), which aim to address the needs of Polish Seniors still living independently in their homes but not able to use their own transport any longer.
The PSSS Program was created with the intention of assisting seniors in transport to medical appointments, shopping, polish social groups (Polish Active Seniors Groups run by the Polish Federation) and to Polish Seniors Clubs etc.
At present we have a total of 34 volunteers involved in the Polish Federation programs, 20 of whom provide regular transport services mainly two-way, mostly on weekdays. Almost all our volunteers are of Polish background and Polish speaking.
All our volunteers need to undergo a police check which is arranged by the Polish Federation.

In addition, the State Government's CTP program funds us to provide services to people who do not have access to public or private transport due to where they live, the time they need to travel, personal mobility restrictions or affordability.
Services are door-to-door, provided by trained, supportive drivers in buses and cars.
The services we offer include shopping access, social outings, and transport to medical and other appointments.
There is a small fee payable for services based on the type of service provided and the distance of the trip.
If you are ineligible for CHSP-funded services, then you may qualify for other services we provide. Please contact us directly.
