Community Transport provides services to transport disadvantaged people living in the Ryde and Hunters Hill areas of Sydney.
We receive funding from the Aust. Government (CHSP) to provide services to eligible, frail, older people aged 65 years and over, or 50 years and over for Aboriginal people.
In addition, the State Government's CTP program funds us to provide services to people who do not have access to public or private transport due to where they live, the time they need to travel, personal mobility restrictions or affordability.
Services are door-to-door, provided by trained, supportive drivers in buses and cars.
The services we offer include shopping access, social outings, and transport to medical and other appointments.
There is a small fee payable for services based on the type of service provided and the distance of the trip.
If you are ineligible for CHSP-funded services, then you may qualify for other services we provide. Please contact us directly.
