Meals and help with food preparation
Yarra Ranges Council CHSP
The 100 volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible, deliver approximately 46,000 meals a year across Yarra Ranges, to almost 500 people with a wide variety of support needs. People may be; in their senior years, recovering after a major illness or surgery, a person with a disability, a carer, or needing assistance due to a special circumstance.
Meals on Wheels offer more than just a meal, as our daily visits help to monitor the health and wellbeing of our customers, especially those who may not see others regularly.
When do we deliver?
We deliver Monday to Friday, generally before 10am. Weekend and Public Holiday meals will be delivered on the working day prior for freezing or refrigeration.
