Based on an individual assessment, allied health professionals work with you to establish a tailored treatment plan that can include individual or group therapy. Services may be provided on a short term or episodic basis and are provided to support your independence with a preventative, maintenance, or restorative focus. Services may include:
• Podiatry
• Occupational therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Formal counselling
• Speech pathology
• Nutritional advice
• Assessment for home safety and equipment needs
• Education in use of equipment that supports independence
• Exercise/Gym classes/Falls prevention
• Tai Chi, Chi Ball
• Condition-specific (Parkinson’s, stroke/pulmonary conditions, arthritis, diabetes) self-management.
Sessions are conducted in the Onkaparinga area with some services provided in your home (eg Occupational Therapy). Transport to and from venue may be provided, depending on your circumstances.

Capecare can provide holistic care to people in their homes to support their wellness and enablement. Capecare has a team of Allied Health Professionals including Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistants whom can provide ongoing therapy support with mobility and exercise programs.

This program provides specialist occupational therapy driving assessments for clients with any physical, psychiatric, Neurological, Cognitive, Congenital, or Age Related impairments disability to determine safety to continue or resume driving with or without vehicle modifications.
