An initial and ongoing physiotherapist assessment is included with the program.

Link health and Community - Independence Matters Group
Come and join our Occupational Therapy group, at Link Health & Community. You will gain knowledge and practical experience in using aids and equipment to help you be more independent and safe completing everyday within your home and the community. This group will provide you with education and the tools to aim to live in your home safely for as long as possible. This is a four week program offered on Mondays 10:30am - 12:00pm at Mackie Road Neighbourhood House 36-42 Mackie Rd, Mulgrave. $10 per session.
Metro Social Support (PAG) Online (Latrobe Community Health Service)
PAG Online: Join with other adults in an online format to stay socially connected and engage in a range of fun and meaningful activities. This includes, socialising in a group setting; maintaining or enhancing your daily living skills; attending occasional outings; participating in organised discussions; hearing from guest speakers.
Move & Chat: Our social support group is designed for older adults who want to socialise AND exercise! Do you want to move, chat and make new friends? We will guide you through gentle exercises and social activities, all within a friendly and supportive environment.

Podiatrists at Link Health & Community can assess and treat your foot, ankle and leg issues. They can assist you with heel pain, corns and callouses, ingrown toenails, wound care, warts, orthotics, diabetes and footwear advice

Occupational Therapists can assist you with activities of daily living, safety, mobility, equipment and aids and assessment for home modifications.
Link Health and Community - Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists at Link Health can help develop, maintain or restore movement, function and independence. They can relieve pain, manage injuries, chronic conditions and give you tools for self-management. They offer support post-surgery and can also assess and treat balance issues to prevent falls and recommend walking aids. We provide episodic care (usually up to 5 sessions). Link Health and Community can also assess clients for appropriate groups such as Hydrotherapy, Tai Chi, Falls prevention group and more.

Link Health & Community has Accredited Practicing Dietitians who provide personal nutrition advice or medical nutrition therapy on a range of health conditions, such as: General nutrition and healthy eating; Diabetes and diabetes prevention; Heart Disease, including high cholesterol and high blood pressure; Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight; Osteoporosis; Digestive health including constipation and irritable bowel syndrome; Vitamin and mineral deficiencies; Nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
