We welcome and celebrate all people, and Helping Hand delivers personalised and professional services to meet the needs of older people in South Australia. We provide guidance to our workforce to support diversity and inclusion through The Helping Hand Way and our specific projects in the areas and communities of LGBTI, Culture and Forgotten Australians.

Individual Social Support is provided to assist the client to carry out essential activities and to maintain social contact with friends and the community this may be helping the client go shopping or helping the client with banking.
Bethanie Community Care - East Metro
Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.

Our care team provides elderly social support that can help you indulge in your favourite hobby, visit family and friends, and even try something new. We offer a range of services so you can stay involved in your community and maintain your independence.
Activities can include visiting a café for a coffee or go shopping, attending local community events like football games, theatre, or other spiritual activities with like minded people, and helping you spend time with your friends at home.

Social support service available to accompany people within the community to complete their shopping, bill payments, errands, get to appointments (where they need support and transport), attend activities or outings, even walk in the local park. Carers support
Our services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services
are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities.
