Virtual Wellness Services provides participants with the tools, knowledge and skills necessary to comfortably navigate the online world in a fully supported environment. Technology then becomes an enabling tool to build client confidence to use technology and remain connected via the online world. Participants will receive an ipad and access to education sessions to learn the skills to safely and successfully navigate and utilise the internet as well as gaining access to a wide variety of social and activity sessions designed to improve social, cognitive, physical, and mental wellbeing. The program is designed for people that have little to no technology or internet skills.

MIND+MOVE is a tailored social and wellbeing hub for seniors providing an exciting range of activities in a group setting that promote health, wellness, and quality of life.
We provide several group exercises (on site & online) programs that aim to improve your strength, mobility, and general fitness. Some examples of these are:
• Falls Prevention Programs
• Remain Active (general strength, mobility & flexibility)
• Walking groups
• Pilates, Yoga, Tai chi & Meditation

Auscare’s Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is available for older Australians and provides structured group activities/outings for our clients to develop, maintain or support social connection.
The range of activities offered includes:
Physical activities: walking groups, bowling, cooking
Group activities: movies, adventure groups
Individual activities: reading, knitting, painting, drawing
Transport included and a additional cost may be charged where a special outings-based activity is arranged. If however participants are experiencing difficulty in meeting this cost, fees can be waived following consultation with Auscare Program Coordinator.
