This all day art program provides the opportunity for participants to meet regularly and foster friendships while participating in art and craft projects. The group is facilitated by an experienced artist who provides creative support. Meet every Wednesday.

Hawthorn Community House is a friendly, vibrant, inclusive community house that provides interesting programs for all members of the community. Our exercise classes for older people include Pilates, Tai Chi, Strength and Balance and Chair Yoga. Social activities include a weekly Lifelong Learning program. This group includes speakers and a light afternoon tea. We also have a memoir writing program for people who are interested in writing and sharing their recollections.
Vision Australia Warragul
Vision Australia provides telephone, centre based activities as well as excursions to support people with vision impairment to continue socialising and stay involved in hobbies, interests and sports. Participants meet according to shared interests or needs.
ADEC - Carers Social Support Group
ADEC’s Carers Groups Program offers a unique social support opportunity for carers and care recipients to come together, share their experiences and gain knowledge from information sessions related to their situation. The program was established over ten years ago and has since grown considerably to include 16 language specific support groups for the following communities; Afghan, Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Karen, Turkish and Vietnamese. The group is run by bi-lingual Facilitators.
