CENTRE BASED DAY CARE is available to give short term relief to individuals and their carers. When a person lives alone, this short term relief provides “relief” or “respite” from loneliness and to provide you with an experience outside of your home.
When the person lives with someone, either husband, wife or family who provide your care, then this “relief” or “respite” is provided for the carer, to give them a break.
Clients are picked up from their home if they have no other means of transport. We have two modern buses fitted with the latest safety equipment and wheelchair hoists.
A day at respite can consist with activities or games, crafts, outings, special days with entertainment & concerts. Each day morning tea and lunch are provided also.
