WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.

BlueCare Ingham Respite Care
Respite - in our Centre’s BlueCare's Centre-based respite services provide structured group or individual activities that assist clients to develop and maintain social interaction and independent living in a community setting. Our services provide a range of programs from short half day programs to full day, evening, weekend ones, and Memory Support Programs specifically tailored for clients with Dementia.

In-home respite focuses on lifestyle activities that are enjoyed by the client and may include personal care and meal preparation, as well as social activities either in the home or the community.
Horn of Africa Senior Women Program Social support
Vietnamese Community in Australia Victoria Chapter Inc
Support senior citizens, including those war widows, people with languages other than English. Programs include cultural, educational, health and well being, singing, dancing, cultural performance and attendance of cultural events and festivals.

Uniting AgeWell Risdon Vale Mobile Respite
At Uniting AgeWell (UA) we believe older people, like people of all ages, want to live in an environment of choice, empowerment and wellness, able to access support and care as they choose. UA Southern Tasmania offers a wide range of services to enable older people to remain active and independent, and living in their own communities, including Centre-based, Social Support Group and Community Access.
Our highly skilled team works closely with individuals and groups to help them achieve their personal goals.

Newcastle Multicultural Seniors Health & Wellness Centre-Hunter Multicultural Communities
ECC's Newcastle Multicultural Seniors Health & Wellness centre operates at the Hippocrates hall one day a week: Wednesday; from 9am till 2pm. Staff and clients attending are from culturally different background. Freshly cooked three course meals, cooked and served in a friendly and culturally harmonious environment are of the Mediteranian & Mid-European style cuisine.
Additionally, a wide range of activities and information sessions organised and presented in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, helps improve client wellbeing and reduces their social isolation. Our other centres cater for Greek, Polish, Italian, Macedonian, Ukrainian and mixed multicultural communities. All services provided are person-centred and culturally appropriate. Our clients are encouraged to actively participate in creating and managing their own individual care plans. Transport is provided by our mini buses.
