Seymour Health Social Support Group
Seymour Planned Activity Group is part of Seymour Health and provides individuals and families social activities that are person centred and cater for all levels of dependency. The service also provides support for the Carers of individuals admitted to the service
Wyndham Vale MS Social Support Group
Group provides support and activities for people with MS and other neurological conditions. Supported by staff and volunteers the group is tailored to meet the individual goals of group participants. A trained art facilitator is also available.
Australian Croatian Community Services (Southern Region)
Our Social Support Groups are weekly social activities that are tailored to the interests and needs of the older people from Croatian, Bosnian and Herzegovinian communities.
In the Southern Region there are several groups available: Croatian Men's Group on Mondays, Golden CRO Hills on Tuesdays and Wild Roses Women's Group on Fridays. All groups go on regular community outings to places of interests, for picnics, to restaurants and for special events. Transport provided subject to volunteer availability.
All programs include nourishing meals, freshly cooked. Program fees are kept to a minimum.

Myrtle Cottage Diversional Therapy
The aim of the service is to enhance general health, wellbeing and independence of frail and isolated older people living in their own home in the Campbelltown LGA with a stimulating and friendly environment. The program operates from our purpose built centre in Ingleburn, Monday to Fridays for 36 people per day. The program encourages clients’ individual choice, provides opportunity to socialise while participating in fun activities. Our activities reflect the needs, interests and backgrounds of the individuals who attend each group. The program involves a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games and quizzes, guest speakers and outings i.e. Movies, Restaurants, Picnics, Museums, etc. Transport is provided to and from the centre from the person’s home. Our vehicles are modified to transport people with reduced mobility. Morning tea and lunch are provided daily when in the centre.

Our BlueCare services can support carers through respite programs and education programs to assist with managing the needs of the person they care for. Carer support programs and services are designed to give relief to carers by offering support when and where it is needed the most.
Men's group
We have social groups for men, focused on keeping them socially engaged while enjoying activities at our centres or within the local community.
Social activities - individual and group Social support assists clients to participate in community life and feel socially included though companionship and activities in their local communities. These activities can be group based at one of our centres or community excursions or individual support to complete shopping and bill paying activities.
Village Baxter Day Centre
The Friendship Club is located at Village Baxter in Frankston South and operates Monday to Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We provide a regular social opportunity for Village residents and those from the Peninsula Community. We go on outings to places such as George Pentland Gardens where we enjoy a BBQ or picnic and then relax beside the tranquil lake and later take a short walk through the pretty gardens, or Arthurs Seat where we can enjoy the gorgeous views which the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
And there is plenty of fun to be had at the club. With word games to keep our minds active, craft to keep us creative, ball games to keep our hand and eye coordination in check, gentle gym exercises on a Tuesday, RSL luncheons, entertainment and movies that take you back and even outings every Saturday, there really is something for everyone's enjoyment. Bendigo Health Home Care Services – Social Support Group
Fitness for Older Adults exercise groups are especially designed for men and women over 65 years of age and cater for a range of abilities. Regular participation in physical activity offers a wide range of benefits.
All of our classes are conducted by qualified fitness instructors with regular visits and advice from physiotherapists and other health professionals.
