Our group social services support programs are designed to enrich your days and stimulate your mind mixing with people of common interests. We have two programs one for seniors and the other for younger individuals with a disability.
Our day programs are held at our premises in Beerwah where our personalised approach means you can access a range of events and activities that are of interest to you.

The dementia day respite centre is located on the grounds of Gillawarna in a lovely setting. Our clients are provided with activities designed to meet their social, physical and psychological needs, whilst providing their carers the opportunity to take a break from the demands of their caring role.
Kura Yerlo Inc. Western Region Elders Forum
Western Region Elders Forum: Over 50 Aboriginal Men and Women from the West North West region of Metropolitan Adelaide. Social Support - Group (formally Centre Based Day Care) Fortnightly Thursdays off pension week 10 – 2pm at Kura Yerlo Inc. Day activities, Guest speakers and day trips; a light meal and transport provided within the group setting - Grand parenting and Transition for higher needs.
Illawarra Indo-Chinese Aged Social Support Group
The Illawarra Indochinese Aged program provides assistance to older people from Indochinese backgrounds ( Vietnamese and Chinese) to attend and participate in especially designed group activities including: Morning tea, culturally appropriate meal, games, ( mah jong), music class, karaoke, yoga classes, gentle exercise ( tai chi), cooking classes, outings,computer classes, guest speakers on a variety topics, monthly visit by local doctor.
Kura Yerlo Inc. Zebra Finch Aboriginal Mens Group
Kura Yerlo Men's Shed group is open to Aboriginal men on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10 am - 2pm Transport and a meal are provided.
