Social Support Group, St Mary's Armenian Church, Melbourne
St Mary’s Armenian Church Social Support Group has been providing support to the local Armenian community since 1996. It is a place where you can keep active, explore your interests, make and maintain friendships and it provides a valuable break for carers.
Programs are held on selected Mondays at St Mary’s Church Hall in Surrey Hills and at AGBU centre in Scorseby, Wednesdays once per month at the Armenian Community Centre in Springvale and Friday’s at the Glen Waverley Community Centre. Programs include music and singing, religious celebrations, gentle exercise, games, guest speakers and outings – excursions, BBQs, picnics and movies.
