At MiCare, we understand your culture and why you want to be among people who speak your language. Many of our staff speak another language and have a non-English speaking background, so let’s discuss your language and cultural heritage, so we can work to support you.
We have funded Domestic Assistance available to people residing in Wyndham, Brimbank, Moonee Valley, and Hobsons Bay local government areas (LGA). Client contribution fees apply (payable to MiCare) when accessing these servcies.

The Home and Community Care Program is a service to provide support to members of the community who are assessed as being:
• Frail and aged persons with moderate, severe or profound disabilities
• Younger people with moderate, severe or profound disabilities
• Carers of these people
The home support program assists people in the above target groups who need basic maintenance and support services to continue living independently in their homes and community with dignity.

This service includes general housework, basic meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping

The Commonwealth Home Support Program aims to provide entry-level support services to assist frail, older people 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) who need assistance with domestic chores to maintain their capacity to manage everyday activities in a safe, secure and healthy home environment while maximising their independence with a strong emphasis on wellness and reablement. Domestic Assistance is provided in the home, and includes services such as: house cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing & ironing, help with meal preparation (where this is not the primary focus of service delivery).

BlueCare Housework
Our team can help by supporting a client
with housework duties around the home. This could include cleaning and laundry to provide a helping hand when it is needed the most. Housework can be included in a client's home care package or on an as needed basis
