We can provide different home help services like mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors, light dusting, wiping down surfaces, washing, folding, and ironing your laundry, and making your bed.

mecwacare can provide support with domestic duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchens or bathrooms, washing, ironing, changing bed sheets and general tidying up. We can help with bill paying, sending and collecting mail and packages, putting out and bringing in rubbish and recycling bins, and provide regular telephone check-ups as part of our home-calling service. We can also help with grocery shopping and meal preparation, including assistance with special dietary requirements and checking expiry dates on food.

At MiCare, we understand your culture and why you want to be among people who speak your language. We know how important it is to be understood and so we match staff to your language and cultural needs. Many of our staff speak another language and have a non-English speaking background, so let’s discuss your language and cultural heritage, so we can work to support you.
We have funded Domestic Assistance available to people residing in Monash, Yarra Ranges, and Knox local government areas (LGA). Client contribution fees apply (payable to MiCare) when accessing these servcies.

Domestic Assistance involves working with people to support them with general domestic chores and household activities to maintain safety and good hygiene.

Our Community Care Workers are a qualified professional who complete a range of support tasks with individuals in and out of the home. We promote working with your Community Care Worker as a team to stay active and to participate in tasks where you are able.

A Community Care Worker does not aim to complete tasks that you can do yourself or tasks completed by professional spring cleaning services.
