Our friendly, efficient home support team are ready to assist you with daily activities to enable you to stay independent in your own home for as long as possible. Our trained support workers can help you maintain the appearance and cleanliness of your home by providing domestic assistance for areas that are used regularly. This may include basic household chores such as cleaning floors, vacuuming, assisting with the laundry, and cleaning the toilet, showers and bathroom.
Other support includes: shopping from your list; delivering meals to you at home or assisting you to prepare nutritious meals for your fridge or freezer.

Many of our staff speak another language and have a non-English speaking background, so let’s discuss your language and cultural heritage, so we can work to support you.
We have limited funding for Domestic Assistance to support people residing in the City of Casey and Greater Dandenong local government area. Client contribution fees apply (payable to MiCare) when accessing these services.

The service is funded by the Australian Government Department of Department of Health and Aged Care, through the Commonwealth Home Support Program. It provides domestic assistance, personal care and social support individual for CHINESE and VIETNAMESE speaking clients in order to remain them in the community as long as possible.

Domestic Assistance services provide assistance with domestic tasks you would normally do yourself, however due to illness, disability or frailty, you require assistance to perform these tasks. Domestic Assistance/Home Care services are limited and designed to maintain a basic level of household cleanliness concentrating on your essential living areas.
