Australian Unity’s home services are suitable for older people who would like some extra support to get the most out of life.

We offer support with everyday activities like personal support, cleaning and gardening, as well as health care services delivered by qualified professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists and podiatrists.

Our friendly and dependable team will take the time to get to know you and tailor a support program to suit your individual needs. You’ll have a choice of team members to assist you and they will work with you as part of your expanded support team.

You’ll only pay for the services you use and agree to.

Housework
Our BlueCare team can help by supporting a client with housework duties around the home. This could include cleaning and laundry to provide a helping hand when it is needed the most. Housework can be included in a client's home care package or on an as needed basis.

BaptistCare at home offers Domestic Assistance through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to help older Australians live independently and comfortably at home.

Our friendly Care Workers provide practical support with light cleaning, tidying, washing up, laundry, ironing, meal preparation, shopping, and paying bills.

Flexible and affordable, services can be short-term or ongoing, tailored to your needs.

Guided by our Well-Living approach, we focus on supporting your health, wellbeing, and independence, encouraging you to stay active and engaged in daily life. Care is coordinated by a dedicated Care Facilitator and delivered by compassionate Care Workers, backed by a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, therapists, and allied health professionals.

Domestic Assistance not only makes daily life easier but also gives peace of mind to you and your family.

The Commonwealth Home Support Program aims to provide entry-level support services to assist frail, older people 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) who need assistance with domestic chores to maintain their capacity to manage everyday activities in a safe, secure and healthy home environment while maximising their independence with a strong emphasis on wellness and reablement. Domestic Assistance is provided in the home, and includes services such as: house cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing & ironing, help with meal preparation (where this is not the primary focus of service delivery).
