The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.
Australian Croatian Community Services (Southern Region)
Australian Croatian Community Services has vacancies to provide domestic assistance under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) for people with language and cultural needs of our specialised cultures - Croatian, Bosnian and Herzegovinian.
Available in the local government areas of Brimbank, Melton, Mooney Valley, Melbourne, Wyndham, Hobson’s Bay, Greater Dandenong and Casey.
We are able to provide 1.5 hours every fortnight. The consumer contribution charge is $6.00 per hour. Note: we do not supply cleaning products or equipment.
A person must meet the CHSP eligibility criteria and be referred through My Aged Care to ACCS .
EPIS Tom Price
EPIS provides domestic assistance usually in our centres. Clients bring linen and clothing in to be washed. On occasion, clients receive in home domestic assistance.
