Our service promotes your independence by helping you with your routine household tasks:
• cleaning floors - sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• cleaning bathrooms - shower, bath, toilet, basins and commodes
• cleaning kitchens - sinks and bench tops
• making beds, some ironing, washing clothes
We welcome people with diverse needs, by treating you as an individual, respecting your needs and wishes. You will help our Coordinator to develop your own care plan for your service.

UMFC Support Options - Hospital to Home
Domestic Assistance: Short Term including Hospital to Home Support for people who are frail aged or have dementia. This could be for one off or intermittent support requirements or following discharge from a private hospital or a short term extension of post-acute care. If the person requires longer term support (beyond the 4 – 6 week period), this support would be via a longer term Commonwealth Home Support provider.
Local Government Areas of: Alpine, Benalla, Indigo, Mansfield, Towong, Wangaratta and Wodonga. UMFC Support Options coordinates local sub-contractors to provide requested services.

People Who Care North
To support people to live independently within their own home, People Who Care, can provide unaccompanied shopping services as required- whether this be short-term or ongoing support. This type of assistance is completed as a shop by list by our caring staff to assist our clients in accessing what they need. Once you have completed an assessment, we can offer a service based on your particular needs.
When keeping up with work around the home becomes difficult, People Who Care can help. All our workers have a current Police Clearance so you can have peace of mind about who is entering your home.
Services may include:
• vacuuming and mopping floors
• cleaning bathrooms
• changing beds
• general light housework and dusting
• ironing and laundry
• shopping
• meal preparation
Our workers can assist with a one off service or provide regular, ongoing help. Once you have completed an assessment, we can offer a service based on your particular needs.
