We provide eligible people within the Merri-bek municipality with assistance with domestic chores to manage everyday activities and to maintain a safe, secure and healthy home.

General house cleaning can include
• Mopping
• Vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Toilets
• Dishwashing
• Assistance with preparing meals
• Bed changing and more.

Domestic Assistance services are provided on a fortnightly basis with the maximum duration per service being 90 minutes. Our team is diverse, well trained and offer a client centred service.

Cost is from $6.60 per hour and clients need to supply equipment such as vacuums, mops and buckets and environmentally friendly low allergenic cleaning products.

Services are available Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 5pm. Your service will be delivered in an AM timeslot or PM timeslot, depending on your preference.

Home Support Workers will arrive for scheduled appointments anytime between 7:30am – 11:30am (AM) or 11:30am - 5pm (PM)

Assisting with essential light house work tasks you are unable to do yourself, that maintain hygiene and safety standards in your home.
Short term or Ongoing:
No Linen; people younger than 50/65 require evidence of receipt of a Commonwealth Pension; live alone; without resources to pay for a private contractor.
Services for frail members of the community who need support in completing household tasks in order to remain living independently in their own homes.
The service is an entry level type "hygiene" clean where contractors employed by CHSA clean areas of a clients' home which are difficult for the client to do independently.
Maximum hours provided for Home Help is: 1.5 hours per fortnight for a house and 1 hour per fortnight for a small flat/ unit.
Available: Vacuuming/ sweeping of floors; mopping; cleaning of shower alcove/ bath; cleaning of toilet/ hand basin/ vanity.
Referrals are prioritised.
Consumers may be subject to a wait time for services.

Located 250kms North West of Alice Springs, Papunya Home Care Service hosts five Level 2 Home Care Packages, Home Support and NT Disability Support services.

Open 8am - 1pm, Mon - Fri

Services include: lunch, breakfast, personal care, transport, advocacy, domestic and social support, and some 'bush trips'. Other services can be negotiated with the Manager. Medication administration and other nursing-level services are not available.
