Uniting AgeWell Melbourne South Metro Home Care
Uniting AgeWell provides respite in groups both within Day Centres and on group outings. Centre-based respite is available Noble Park (Scott Club) and Brighton (Girrawheen) to carers seeking a day program environment for the person they care for. The centres provide transport to and from the centre if in the required catchment area. Community access groups provide an enjoyable group outing for clients with low-care needs (mobilise independently) who would like to access the community. A care worker takes small groups on day trips with destinations chosen by clients- currently the Carer Respite Service has Vietnamese specific groups, a Tamil group and a ladies group with clients from City of Greater Dandenong and surrounding areas.

Uniting AgeWell Melbourne East Metro Home Care
This service provides residential short term respite in our partner Supported Residential services (SRS) and in our dedicated respite facility in Bendigo for a few days or a few weeks. This then gives respite for carers who are supporting someone over the age of 65 at home.
