Based in Rostrevor in the eastern suburbs, the redeveloped two-storey accommodation features single rooms with ensuites for 92 people in both low and high care.

Milpara boasts an onsite gym, an outdoor fitness park, coffee shop and the Milpara Club. It has been designed in a configuration of six, 15-room houses, creating a community environment.

There are 90 single rooms with an adjoining ensuite, A design that creates a community environment without encroaching on privacy.

Part of the Glenroy community since 1980, Colton Close is renowned for its high standard of care, expert staff and wide-range of leisure and lifestyle activities. A multi-million dollar upgrade in 2008 expanded the facility to offer 150 rooms, including a 29-room specialised low care dementia unit. The facility also provides for ageing in place, which allows residents to remain living in the low care hostel, should their care needs change to require more specialised care.

Complete with its own chickens, aviary and shaded gardens, Estia Ardeer has a welcoming European character, enhanced by leafy views across the adjacent nature reserve and creek, and close to the John Paul II Polish Centre. Various members of staff speak a second language, and a number have been at the residence for many years, providing a genuine sense of familiarity, stability and understanding.

With a combination of single and companion rooms, Estia Health Ardeer can meet the full range of care needs from semi-independent living to high-level care. Our 'ageing-in-place' capabilities allow residents to stay at Estia Ardeer, even if their care requirements change.

While there is no specific dementia care suite, we are able to care for residents with cognitive and memory support needs, including dementia.
