Nursing care is provided by a Registered or Enrolled Nurse. Tasks such as recording client clinical observations may be conducted by trained and skilled staff, overseen and supervised by a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse. Services are usually short term or episodic, depending on your assessed needs.
Nursing care can include:
• continence assessment, education and advice
• regular monitoring of blood glucose level, blood pressure etc
• education in self-management of chronic conditions
• short term wound care
• support with medication management.
