The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is a State Government organisation providing comprehensive health services to country West Australians.
WACHS spans 2.55 million square kilometres and is the largest country health system in Australia covering the whole of the State outside the metropolitan area.
Despite vast distances, WACHS provides health services to residents and visitors that include emergency and hospital services, population, public and primary health care, mental health, drug and alcohol services, Aboriginal health, child and community health and residential and community aged care services.
WACHS provides aged and community care services for older people across our communities, including aged care assessments, community care, residential aged care, subacute and acute care, and transitioning older people from hospital back into the community.
WACHS is a provider of CHSP services such as domestic assistance, personal care, meals and food services, and transport.
Suncare Community Services-Caboolture
The H&GM services must focus on maintenance of the home and garden to improve safety, accessibility and independence.
Tasks that Suncare can provide include:
- Lawn mowing
- Pressure cleaning pathways and driveways to improve safety/access
- Pruning of shrubs and hedges that are obstructing access/pathways
- Cleaning gutters for single story homes
- Cleaning windows of single story homes
- Cleaning ceiling fans
- Changing smoke alarm batteries (batteries to be provided by Customer)
- Changing light bulbs (bulb/s to be provided by Customer)
Warrumbungle Community Care - Coolah
Warrumbungle Community Care supports older people and younger people with a disability and their carers in the Warrumbungle Shire to remain living independently in their own homes. Our friendly gardening and home maintenance team can give your place the attention it deserves. From minor repairs to gutter cleaning and general upkeep, we are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable home environment.
Gardening services include:
• Lawn mowing and whipper snipping
• Raking leaves
• Pruning small hedges and trimming shrubs
• Clearing pathways
• Leveling ground for safe access (not paving)
Maintenance services include:
• Changing batteries in smoke detectors
• Changing light globes
• Cleaning exterior windows (single storey only)
