The Home Maintenance Service supports clients to maintain their homes in a safe and habitable condition, placing an emphasis on achieving the clients wellness and reablement goals. Priority is given to safety requests including: changing light globes, tap washers and replacing smoke alarms and batteries. Other services include, but are not limited to,repairs to gates, and cupboard doors, rewire clothes lines, rewire window and door flyscreen's, clean inside and outside windows, pressure clean paths and driveways, garden tidy, rubbish removal, gutter cleaning, lawn mowing, tree pruning and extended home cleaning.
A thorough WHS assessment is completed prior to commencement of services.
The cost is $10 per hour plus the cost of parts or equipment. A quote can be provided.The service is offered to clients and their carers living in the Devonport, Latrobe, Kentish and Central Coast Municipalities
This service is available from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm.
