We offer door to door transport to and from the Burger Centre each visit included in the cost of attending the centre. We partner with Randwick Waverley Community Transport Group.

Strathdon Mingara Centre provides a variety of programs for people with memory loss and their carers. The aims of the programs are to provide a range of recreational and therapeutic activities in a relaxed and supported environment that encourages independence, meet leisure and social needs and responsive to individual preferences and needs. Participants have the opportunity to enjoy a range of flexible activities including woodwork, art, cooking, my life story project and music programs. We also offer a secure expansive outdoor area for gardening activities, with a covered gazebo that can be enjoyed in the warmer weather.
These programs are available Monday to Friday and provide opportunity for people to meet new friends and try new activities, while also giving their carers a break from their caring role.

Our community transport bus service offers volunteer mini-bus drivers who provide a safe, affordable, door-to-door service to keep you connected to your regular community group activities like Seniors groups and local community centres, and monthly group outings to places of interest such as festivals, shopping centres, zoos, exhibitions, cinemas and concerts. We are unable to offer 1:1 support for transport (to medical appointments or shopping for example).

The Patient Transport Program is a service which meets a clear need of the Orbost community; help to attend medical appointments outside of the Orbost District.
