Community Transport Central Coast Ltd.
We provide transport services to people in the community who are "Transport Disadvantaged". They may have no transport of their own and some difficulty using main stream public transport. (i.e. Our passengers may have difficulty walking from home to the bus stop or managing the steps of a public bus.) Our buses are equipped to carry wheelchairs and other large mobility aids. Service is also provided using our sedans, taxis and a small volunteer car pool.
We offer a door to door service. The service is available to all the diverse needs groups although there are no specific services for particular language groups or other diverse needs groups except for those we have indicated. We provide safe, timely and personal service to our passengers in clean, well maintained vehicles modified to enable their access. Coast Community Connections is a Central Coast based not for profit organisation that provides a range of support services for older people, including domestic assistance, personal care, shopping and social support or community access, flexible respite, home maintenance and modifications across the whole Central Coast. Coast Community Connections also offers support for people living in hoarding and squalor and a range of local group health promotion activities. We offer these services through subsidised Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Home Care Package services and on a fee for service basis. Our staff are all trained and provide exceptional service, sensitive to the needs of individuals and families. The CHSP program is available for older people (over 65 and over 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who live at home.
