Transport: working with the client to determine their transport needs. Transport (by licenced staff or volunteers) may be provided to assist the client to continue participation in community life. This includes transport to the local shops, social groups, church, service clubs, medical and health related appointments, assistance to visit family and friends in the local area, and support to attend family or community events. Transport can also be provided to complement other services such as social support, shopping, personal care or allied health and therapy services.

We offer support with everyday activities like personal support, cleaning and gardening, as well as health care services delivered by qualified professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists and podiatrists.
Our friendly and dependable team will take the time to get to know you and tailor a support program to suit your individual needs. You’ll have a choice of team members to assist you and they will work with you as part of your expanded support team.
You’ll only pay for the services you use and agree to.

If you or the person you care for, is unable to access or use public transport, Anglicare can provide you with transport assistance. We’re here to support you to get where you need to go.
Our transport services can be used for a number of activities, including:
• Attending medical appointments
• Going shopping
• Participating in social activities
• Attending community events
• Visiting friends and family
• Simply getting out of the house
All our drivers are reliable and hold a full, clean Queensland Driver’s Licence. They are also subject to a National Police Check.
