Bethanie Community Care - North Metro
Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Home and Community Care (HACC), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.

Goodwin Home Support Services
Goodwin’s in-home and community-based services provide assistance if you are living independently, but may need some help with everyday tasks, social support through our Day Clubs, or respite for those who care for you. Transportation services can include collection of groceries for you, and transport to and from appointments or our Day Clubs.

YMCA Whittlesea provides group transport for senior residents to access locations in and around the City of Whittlesea. Access to fitness, shopping & social programs, relax and enjoy travelling in a group and being active with friends.

- To access the community with the support of staff and engage in a variety of planned activities
- To access facilities to enhance participants health and well being
- To have the opportunity to access transport in a safe and secure environment
- To increase independence, engage with others socially and avoid isolation
This program is funded by Commonwealth Home Support Program and to be eligible for this program, you must be:
• 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people), or
• 50 years or older (45 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) and on a low income, homeless, or at risk of being homeless
