Our Health & Wellness services focus on rehabilitation and prevention. Consultations are available onsite at our awarding winning Carmelite Health & Wellness Centre in Myrtle Bank and direct to the client’s home via a clinician visit or Telehealth. Southern Cross Care offer a wide range of allied health and therapy services including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, accredited exercise physiology, occupational therapy, social work, dietetics, podiatry, registered nursing and massage therapy. Our experienced friendly team will work together with you to get you onto your best health pathway using our range of specialised programs for physical, social and mental health, group exercise or one to one therapy, and chronic condition management. In addition, our Occupational Therapists can offer a range of home safety options to keep you safe and living in your home for the future.

Merri Health provides a range of allied health services that support older people to live independently and safely in their homes and in the community.
Merri Health provides Allied Health & Therapy services across the Northern Metropolitan region of Melbourne. The Allied Health team delivers centre-based services out sites located within the Merri-Bek LGA. A home visiting service is offered pending eligibility. Group programs are also offered and include groups focusing on functional mobility exercises, balance and falls prevention, osteoarthritis (GLA:D) and sleep. Our Exercise Physiologists also offer programs to support consumers with chronic conditions management.

Inspiro offers Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Occupational Therapy. Most services are clinic based, with home visits offered to housebound clients, except for Podiatry and OT. Podiatry is clinic based only.
OT is primarily a home-based service and is experiencing high demand. Our service is limited to high risk only. Please ensure referrals for OT clearly outline:
• Diagnosis, information regarding any terminal/ palliative or progressive conditions
• Risks associated with pressure care
• Falls – where they occurred, the cause, injuries sustained, assistance and medical input required
• Safety and independence with transfers and mobility
• Cognition
• Existing supports – who they live with, carer information, the sustainability of these arrangements, risks to carers
• Any risks associated with capacity to remain at home

Restorative Care. Up to 5 sessions with physiotherapist at St Marys, Parramatta, South Penrith, St Clair and Glenmore Park. There are a small number of home visit packages available. The cost per session is $15 for a clinic visit and $25 for a home visit. Must have a Pensioner concession card or Low Income Health Care Card. Subsidised transport is available via Gilgai Individual Transport Program. Gilgai Aboriignal Centre uses Centrepay for collections. If you have an individual government package, the rules of Commonwealth Home Support Program require that the package be charged the package rate.

Gumba Gumba is a not for profit home care provider that has been operating in Cairns for over 25 years. We provide flexible and reliable aged care services to people living in Cairns and the Cassowary coast. We understand that our clients want to live at home and we are dedicated to working with you to achieve this. Our model of service delivery is flexible and responsive and we can support you to access social, recreational and developmental opportunities while still encouraging carers to continue in their role. We provide routine access to Physiotherapy, Podiatry and an Exercise Physiologist (Hydrotherapy and Exercise Gym).
