The high risk foot care therapy service provides basic foot hygiene for clients at community health centres in Devonport, Burnie and Wynyard by a Foot Care Therapy Assistant. This service is provided under the governance of the public Podiatry department and access to this service is only via internal referral from the public Podiatry department.
Bethanie Community Care - North Metro
Bethanie can provide services under a range of government funded programs including Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP), or on a fee for service basis. The Bethanie team is trusted by clients and families to support them to age well in their homes and to remain connected to their community. Services can meet everyday care and clinical needs, such as nursing and therapy services, house cleaning, laundry, gardening, shopping, transport and home maintenance. Bethanie work collaboratively with clients to enable them to live active lives and pursue their interests individually or on a group basis. Respite services (either in or out of the home) are also available to assist carers with caring for themselves.
