Footprints Community
At Footprints we support people, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviours to remain independent and living the lifestyle of their choice. Our Aged Care Services team engage with people to assist them to remain in their home and connected to their family and community. Podiatry services are offered at Footprints Day Centre only. Transport is available to Podiatry service which includes foot care, pain relief, ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, and diabetic foot care.
Resthaven Community Services - Marion
Based on an individual assessment, allied health professionals work with you to establish a tailored treatment plan that can include individual or group therapy. Services may be provided on a short term or episodic basis and are provided to support your independence with a preventative, maintenance, or restorative focus. Services may include:
• Podiatry
• Occupational therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Formal counselling
• Speech pathology
• Assessment for home safety and equipment needs
• Education in use of equipment that supports independence
• Exercise/Gym classes/Falls prevention
• Tai Chi, Chi Ball
• Condition-specific (Parkinson’s, stroke/pulmonary conditions, arthritis, diabetes) self-management.
Sessions are conducted at Marion with some services provided in your home. Transport to and from venue may be provided, depending on your circumstances.

SLHD Podiatry
SLHD Podiatry services are provided at locations across the Sydney Local Health District:
• Croydon and Marrickville Health Centres
• Canterbury, Concord, Balmain and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals.
The aim of the podiatry services within the Sydney Local Health District are to provide effective management of foot problems in people living in our community. Services are provided to clients with foot problems who are unable to provide the level of self care needed to maintain their own foot health and for whom the provision of podiatry care is assisting to maintain their mobility and independence.
Priority is given to:
• clients with foot problems/pathology for whom a hospital-based podiatry service is deemed more appropriate (due to their particular needs)
• clients for whom financially disadvantage is a barrier to accessing treatment
• clients with a serious chronic disease or a mental health diagnosis that is impacting their foot health.
St Vincents At Home Allied Health
The St Vincent's Home Based Allied Heath Team (Domiciliary Therapy) focuses on restoring, or maintaining people’s independence, improving functioning and wellbeing to support them to remain living at home. The team includes: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Podiatry, Dietetics and an Allied Health Assistant. This service is predominantly for clients who are housebound or have difficulty accessing allied health services in the community.

cohealth’s health services can help you maintain your life at home. We can provide better care when we can work with you to coordinate a range of services to support your recovery and wellness.
We tailor and coordinate a Care Plan with you. It is designed to meet the needs identified through your My Aged Care assessment. Your Care Plan will include a range of cohealth services or other services in the community.

Please note: This is a Homelessness Allied Health Service providing the following:
• Podiatry
• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Dietetics
• Exercise Physiology
• Specialist Women’s Physiotherapy (reproductive health)
The Homelessness Allied Health team provides health assessments, treatments, reviews and internal/external referrals as needed either for clinical, social, housing, recreational, moral and practical support. They also provide assistance to develop “Client Centred Goal Directed Care plans”.
Who is eligible?
People sleeping rough on the streets, parks, living in a car, tent, squats or people with a lived experience of homelessness and who are now housed for not more than 6 months.
