We can assist customers to access skilled allied health therapists, such as occupational therapists, dietitians, speech therapists or physiotherapists who can meet customers in their home to discuss needs and develop a personalised plan relating to food choice and preparation, cooking, nutrition, food and kitchen safety.
We provide short-term, home-based services to help customers stay healthy, able, mobile, fit and well-nourished including:
• practical solutions for a safer kitchen
• supportive aids and equipment to help with shopping, preparing food and cooking meals
• advice about eating well and managing health conditions
• ideas on suitable tasty snacks or meals to complement regular delivered meals or supplements to help boost energy levels
• plans to assist if stroke, injury or pre-existing conditions have affected a customer’s ability to eat and drink safely
• exercise plans to rebuild or maintain strength, manage weight, build balance, prevent falls or regain functions
