About the service:
Eating the right foods can help you stay healthy. Dietitians give advice about your diet. They help you understand what foods and diet is best for you.
We can help you with:
- healthy eating information
- reading food labels
- choosing the best food when shopping or eating out
- healthy ways to prepare and cook food
- low cost meals
Who can use the service?
This service is for anyone, especially for the following people:
- you are sick of diets that don’t work
- diabetes, or you are at risk of getting diabetes
- high cholesterol or high blood pressure
- Coeliac Disease
- food allergies (eg nut, dairy, soy or egg) or food sensitivities (eg wheat, lactose, fructose),
- Osteoporosis
- low levels of Iron, Vitamin B12 or Vitamin D
- eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia
This service is provided at Frankston, Hastings, Mornington and Rosebud Community Health Centers.

Our registered Dietitian will help you make dietary choices to get the most out of life. Home visits can be arranged if clients meet our home visit criteria.
Advice can be provided on general nutrition for all ages, Diabetes, Heart Disease, weight loss, weight gain, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, coeliac disease, food intolerance and vegetarian eating.

Mater at Home is a specialist provider of home-based allied health services in Brisbane South within 35 km radius of Brisbane CBD. Telehealth is available all suburbs. We are part of the Mater Group which has been providing exceptional care to Queenslanders for over 100 years.

We want to help you live independently and safely at home and we do this by taking a Reablement and Restorative approach. This means we promote independence, client participation and focus on your goals.
Goals-based programs run for 12 weeks and can provide up to two episodes of care, per allied health discipline each year.
Our care is evidence-based and led by an allied health professional.
Our services are largely government subsidised, but as with all providers, we are required to charge a client contribution. Our current fee is $15 per home visit, but waivers are available for those in financial hardship.

RangeCare can provide a range of Allied Health Services including Podiatry, Physiotherapy, and Counselling. We also have Gym and Falls Prevention classes run by qualified Allied Health Professionals.
