Vision Australia’s occupational therapists provide advice, recommendations, demonstration or training on strategies on grooming, maintaining health and fitness, clothing care and management, management of medication, identification of money, telephoning skills; preparing meals and safety etc.

Social Work. Does not provide financial advice. Social work services are provided to assist people in adjusting to changed circumstances brought about by illness, ageing or accident. Social workers also provide counselling to people about personal/ relationship issues and referral to other appropriate services e.g. financial, marital, relationship, child abuse, domestic violence.

Our Lumeah Day Therapy Centre provides education, therapy and support services designed specifically to enable older people to maintain or recover their independence.

Flexible and responsive, our highly skilled community team works closely with individuals to help them achieve their personal goals.

We offer: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, strength training, falls prevention, health promotion and education; while activities such as tai chi, balance classes for seniors and Parkinson’s information sessions are also available.
