CHS Community Care Podiatry
Our Community Care Podiatry Service team offers a variety of short-term and long-term podiatry care to residents of the ACT who hold a Centrelink Pension Card or Low-income Health Care Card.
Our services include:
• General podiatry treatment
• Foot health assessment
• Biomechanical assessment
• Footwear and orthotic prescription
• Nail surgery
• Health promotion and education.
Hours of operation: 8.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)
No home visiting available

• Initial assessment and advice only available for ACT residents holding a Centrelink Pension or Health Care Card

Community Health - Gympie
Community Health Physiotherapists develop home based therapy programs for people with reduced levels of function especially around mobility, strength and balance often as a result of acute and/or chronic illness with the aim to restore function and independence. Advice regarding ongoing management of chronic illness affecting physical health for example neuromuscular, cardiac and respiratory disease can also be provided.
Mobility equipment including wheeled walking aids and wheelchairs can be prescribed for clients through MASS.
Exclusions include conditions requiring hands on therapy.

Clinical assessment, clinical intervention, treatment, education and strategies for self management.
Assistive Technology: self care aides, support & mobility aides, medical care aids, reading aids, car modifications and other goods and equipment. Occupational Therapy referrals for Housing NSW residents, requiring modifications need to be lodged by Housing NSW as the owner of these properties.
