Occupational Therapists help people to participate in the activities of everyday life. They work with people and communities to improve their ability to do the things they want to do, need to do or are expected to do. This might be to get in and out of bed or to prepare a meal.
Occupational Therapists can also make changes to the home or community environment to make it easier and safer for people to go about their everyday activities. For example, they might arrange for a hand rail to help a person stand safely while in the shower.
Our Occupational Therapist visits you at home to assess your needs and make recommendations to assist you to maximise your independence and safety with daily living activities.
