CHS Community Care Podiatry
Our Community Care Podiatry Service team offers a variety of short-term and long-term podiatry care to residents of the ACT who hold a Centrelink Pension Card or Low-income Health Care Card.
Our services include:
• General podiatry treatment
• Foot health assessment
• Biomechanical assessment
• Footwear and orthotic prescription
• Nail surgery
• Health promotion and education.
Hours of operation: 8.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)
No home visiting available

• Initial assessment and advice only available for ACT residents holding a Centrelink Pension or Health Care Card

Regis Hollywood Day Therapy Centre
At our Day Therapy Centre in Nedlands we offer personalised, high-quality allied health care to encourage independent living and enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.
Designed to meet your individual needs, our Physiotherapy, Wellness and Reablement services assist you to maintain or restore your strength, balance, mobility and coordination. We have a range of engaging 1:1 therapy sessions and group classes incorporating a variety of fitness equipment and exercises including Knee Power, Balance, Active Circuit, and Fitball. Our programs can help you to recover from injury, manage ongoing medical conditions, improve confidence in completing everyday activities, and retain your independence while living at home.
Classes are delivered within a fun and social environment by our passionate, experienced and qualified employees. Committed to partnering with you in your care, we will help you set and work towards your wellbeing goals to ensure you get the most out of our program.
Adssi In-home Support
Our registered and qualified physiotherapist can come to your home to support you to get better and stay well. Physiotherapy helps repair damage, reduce stiffness and pain, increase mobility and improve quality of life and can help with:
• Cardiorespiratory – prevents, rehabilitates and supports people living with, or at risk of diseases and injuries affecting the heart and lungs;
• Cancer, palliative care – including treating, managing or preventing fatigue, pain, muscle and joint stiffness, and deconditioning;
• Supporting older Australians – promote healthy and active ageing and help manage or prevent the effects of osteoporosis, incontinence and falls;
• Musculoskeletal – prevents and treats musculoskeletal conditions e.g. neck & back pain;
• Neurology – promotes movement and quality of life in patients who suffer stroke, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis;
• Orthopaedic – prevent or manage acute or chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis
Gilgai Aboriginal Centre
Restorative care. Up to 5 sessions with an occupational therapist at Penrith or Kingswood. The cost per session is $15. Subsidised transport is available via Gilgai Individual Transport Program. Gilgai Aboriginal Centre uses CentrePay for collections. If you have an individual government package, the rules of the Commonwealth Home Support Program require that the package be charged the package rate.
