Allied health services are provided both at Centre and at times home based. Most centre based services are provided at the Community Rehabilitation Centre at 155 Guthridge Parade SALE VIC 3850. Services are also provided at Maffra District Hospital, Rosedale Community Health Centre and the Loch Sport Community Health Centre.

Diversional therapy uses leisure and recreation to enhance physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing for people of all ages and abilities, particularly in healthcare and aged care settings. Diversional therapists plan and facilitate tailored programs, such as art, music, exercise, and social activities, to improve quality of reduce stress and isolation, and promote active participation. The goal is to foster individual choice, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose through purposeful and enjoyable activities.

Community Speech Pathology - North West
The Community Speech Pathology Service provides assessment and management to frail aged people experiencing swallowing and/or communication impairments. Swallowing and Communication impairments in the ageing population are often associated with progressive degenerative disorders, cancer, neurological disorders or acquired brain injury.
Life Care Active
This exercise class is led by a Personal Trainer and the aim is to improve the person’s balance
and therefore reducing the risk of falls. While the class is taken from a standing position, for
those people who are unable to stand for long periods the exercises can also be performed
seated. People who have been attending these classes have commented that they have more
confidence and independence because of their improved balance. *This class requires an
assessment by our Personal Trainer prior to commencement as well as a medical clearance
from the GP*.
