Brotherhood of St Laurence provides services for over 65 year old clients to support them with maintaining their daily activities and independence at home and out in the community. Social Support Individual support is offered to assist with escorted shopping, transport, social activities and companionship.

Canterbury City Community Centre Social Support - Individual (South West Sydney)
The Social Support - Individual Service aims to assist frail older people to participate in community life and feel socially included through meeting their need for social contact and company.
Services include:
Home Visiting and
Accompanied Activities such as shopping, bill paying, attendance at appointments, going out for a coffee or to visit a place of interest.
Clients are matched up with volunteers/paid worker who will visit or accompany the clients.
Clients contribute $7.50 per hour for a maximum of 2 hours a week. Clients are direct debited monthly.
